Youth Infrastructure Youth Development
In partnership with Milton Keynes YMCA and funded by Northamptonshire County Council, we are providing support and information to any voluntary youth group working with children and young people. This ensures that we build, strengthen and add value to the voluntary sector.
The objective is to build the capacity of the sector to support young people. Areas of support include youth work best practice, quality standards, young people's accreditation and recognition, update on policy and child protection. This is delivered through direct support as well as conferences and training events. The project provides a voice for the sector to policy makers, planners and funders, and will raise the profile of the voluntary youth sector through media coverage, public awareness and ensuring local politicians are fully informed.
